His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent has arrived in Mongolia on the 14th of April at the invitation of Mongolian Prime Minister S.Batbold.
Today, Prince Michael of Kent was received by S.Batbold, Prime Minister of Mongolia.
The Prime Minister thanked the Prince for accepting his invitation and greeted him with a warm welcome. At the begining of the meeting, the Prime Minister said that Mongolia is giving top priority to boosting UK and Mongolia relations in particularly economy and investment sectors.
The Prime Minister S.Batbold also noted the Mongolian Stock Exchanges cooperation with the London Stock Exchange and succesful start of introducing UK’s Cambridge standards to Mongolian Secondary school programs and hoped that Prince will make contribution in enhancing mutual cooperation of the two countries.
In return, the Prince has expressed his delight on visiting Mongolia for the first time. The Prince said to put all his efforts in developing UK-Mongolia relations and that he is investigating possible investment opportunities in Mongolia.
The Prince is accompanied by UK’s business delegates and Mr John Grogan, Chairman of the Mongolian British Chamber of Commerce. His Royal Highness Prince Michael’s visit to Mongolia will be concluded tomorow on April 18, 2012.
