The negotiation on the establishment of the coalition Government between DP and the Justice Coalition is ongoing. Although the final decision hasn’t been made yet, the sides have decided to form the Government within July 26. According to the laws on Government and SGKh the Government shall be established within 45 days since the election result has been officially presented to the President of Mongolia. As the President Ts. Elbegdorj is about to head for London to see the Olympics, the parties need to hurry to reach an agreement.
Although the negotiation started on Monday, it’s not clear when it’ll end as there are three working groups taking part in. DP’s working groups is being led by Kh. Battulga and the Justice Coalition working group is being led by Ch. Ulaan whereas CWGP’s working group’s head is S. Demberel. The working groups have exchanged their platforms to be reflected in the platform of the Government. As S.Oyun reported that the party has submitted a request to cooperate with the parties in the local election in autumn in case CWGP joins the Justice Coalition and DP in the Government Composition.
DP has announced the Government would have 15 ministries. Numerous of names are being spread through the media and press; however, the ministers’ names are still unclear as the structure and organization of the future Government hasn’t been discussed yet.
