At the Parliament meeting on Friday, the MPs approved the appointment of new ministers to fill the vacancies created when the DP pulled out of the coalition government.
D.Khayankhyarvaa was appointed as Minister for Finance by 67.9 percent of voting MPs; D.Tsogtbaatar was appointed as Minister for Nature, environment and tourism by 64.7 percent of voting MPs; J.Enkhbayar was appointed as Minister for Defense by 67.8 percent of voting MPs; Ts.Dashdorj was appointed as Minister for Road, Transportation and Urban development by 64.2 percent of voting MPs; and N.Khurelbaatar was appointed as Minister for Health by 71.7 percent of voting MPs.
The MPs also changed the structure of the Goverment and eliminated the post of the First Deputy Prime Minister with 80 percent of MPs voting in favor.
