The MPP has nominated new Ministers to fill the vacancies created by the DP’s withdrawal from the coalition government. MPP has nominated D.Khayankharvaa for Minister for Finance, Ts.Dashdorj for Minister for Road, Transport and Urban Development, J.Enkhbayar for Minister for Defense.Today the nominations go to various standing committees in Parliament for discussions.

The Standing Committee on State Structure will discuss the nominee for first deputy prime minister; the Standing Committee on Economics will discuss the nominee for road, transportation and urban development minister; the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy will discuss the nominee for defense minister; the Standing Committee on Nature, Environment and Food will discuss the nominee for nature, environment and tourism minister; and the Standing Committee on Social Welfare, Education, Culture and Science will discuss the nominee for health minister. The standing committees will submit their decisions to Parliament. Also, the DP caucus may meet to discuss the nominations.
