Price of Petroleum increased by 20 percent

The most of the petroleum importer companies have increased their prices of petroleum last Friday except petroleum giant “Sod Mongol” and “Petrovis”.

Both companies have increased their price of gas starting from today. Price increase of USD has lead to the outcome explained “Sod Mongol”. The rest of the petroleum importer companies have increased their prices by 260-300 MNT per litre from last Friday.

Unofficial source says that the increase is related to political policies but the Trade Unions believe that Mongol Bank is to blame as they did not control the value of foreign currencies. Officials from the Central Bank denies any faults and wrongdoings.
