President of Mongolia attended a Mongolia-Italy business forum that took place on Wednesday in Milan city. This forum attracted over 50 businessmen from entities of machines and equipment, industries of coal, railway and mining, and some 20 Mongolian delegates from enterprisers and organizations.

The gathered discussed ways of widening the bilateral collaboration in trade and investments, noted that this forum helps propagandize a legal environment of investment in Mongolia and establish business ties.
Santo Versace has been given a floor, a parliament member, leader of the Italy-Mongolia Business Council and the eldest brother of Gianni Versace, outstanding Italian fashion designer. Mr. Versace said the Embassy of Mongolia opened in Italy and now the time to open Italy’s Embassy in Mongolia. He said the Italian investors are attracted to Mongolia because of many factors such as open and intensively developing economics, human rights, young cadres, and a neighbourhood with the strongest-economy states.
The business forum hasd been co-organized by the Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency of Mongolia (FIFTA), the Italian Industrial Association, the “Assolombarda” organization of Lombardy region, the “Promos” agency at Milan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Italy-Mongolia Business Council and Stock exchanges of Italy.
Some 40 entities of Italy are running business in Mongolia, total investments has reached USD 15 million.
