A joint Mongolia-Canada conference will be held September 8 and 9 in the Canadian capital of Ottawa. At the conference, officials from the two countries will discuss expanding their political and economic partnerships, and maintaining their mutually beneficial relationship.
Mongolia’s Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, D. Zorigt, will lead the Mongolian delegation, which will express its interest in acquiring Canadian technology for the mining, agriculture, transportation, and environmental sectors. The two sides will also discuss opportunities to cooperate in trade, investment, cultural exchanges, and defense.
