He has expressed thanks to the Speaker for rendering constant support for implementation of the program, and added this program has great effects to reduce poverty and improve people’s livelihood. Moreover, Mr. Barnett has pointed out that the law on stability of budget approved by the State Great Khural has yielded an important effect on the program’s realization, and then hoped that the law will give its positive outcomes.
In his turn, Mr. Demberel has said that he is satisfied that Mongolia has become the only country in Asia Pacific to fruitfully realize the Stand-By program in spite of the global financial and economic crisis. Mr. Barnett has said that the IMF has a willingness to continue its collaboration with Mongolia. He has requested the Speaker to pay an attention to a program on structural change of banks and the law on social welfare, which have been submitted to parliament because these documents might strengthen results of the Stand-By program.
