On March 29, 2010, Prime Minister S.Batbold receives World Bank delegates, led by Mr. Janamitra Devan, Vice President of Financial and Private Sector Development (FPD).

Mr. Devan expressed his comfort that the cooperation between Mongolia and World Bank in the private sector is successfully developed and confidence that the cooperation will be enriched and expanded.  

Prime Minister S.Batbold briefly introduced the Government’s action of overcoming the crisis and challenges and expressed his full confidence of succeeding the goal of resolving the issues such as mining investment, dzud – severe winter problems, expansion of urban areas, infrastructure and education, in complex way. He also noted the importance of close cooperation between World Bank, IMF and Mongolia in solving the issues.
Both sides exchanged their opinion on facing challenges and opportunities such as development of capital market with support from World Bank in the financial and banking sectors.
