Climate allows 45 days only for autumn harvest. It will require 670 combiners to complete it within 25 days. Mongolia has 1.2 million hectare land for plantation since 1990. But now Mongolia uses only 200 thousand hectare for plantation. It has target to increase it up to 300 thousand hectare. In the future, it sets its goal to use half (607 thousand hectare) of the total arable land for plantation.

All the land of plantation is under ownership of individuals and companies. There are quite few companies own land with over 3000 hectares and there are 47 companies with 1500-3000 hectares, 99 with 600-1500 hectares, 140 with 300-600 and 795 with up to 300 hectares. There is a calculation that 154 million US$ to develop and revive the agriculture industry in Mongolia. Besides, Minister said that there are over 40 billion MNT is required for “Atar III” campaign.
