The issue of appointing deputy ministers at the ministries was to be discussed before the official visit of Prime Minister S.Bayar to South Korea. But was failed to be discussed because the tension was so high between candidates for the deputy ministers’ position from both parties. Some sources say that MPRP and Democratic parties agreed upon appointing more than 11 deputy ministers for 11 ministries. In another words, in some ministries there will be two deputy ministers. But the ratio will be remained as 60:40. It became clear that Ministry of Mineral Resource and Energy and Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry will have two deputy ministers. Deputy Ministers will be appointed according to the policy of shuffling ministers between their belonging parties. During today’s Cabinet Meeting the names of deputy ministers will be clear.
