M.Enkhsaikhan: Not Everyone Will Become Rich Through Mining
Is it correct to distribute cash to the people of Mongolia?
Mongolia is one family. There must be the principle to granting certain part of the treasure and profit through the fair distribution. Fair distribution of the treasure of natural resource is correct thing. There is a big gap in the society of the countries which were developed based on the mining industry. In another words, few will become rich with money from mining industry. Therefore, the idea to distribute profit from mining to the general public is correct. Not all Mongolians will become rich benefitting from the mining industry. I am not rejecting an idea to develop industry and infrastructure. But mining industry makes very few people rich. When they become rich, they harm to the nation and creating instability. There is no nation on the earth that managed to fairly distribute natural resource to its people evenly.
Therefore, the will, to distribute some of the profit to the people, cannot be blamed or criticized. But they don’t understand the structure and system how to do it. In the future, we shall talk about distributing certain portion of the profit through children.
