Ts.Elbegdorj: Our MPs will come back once their utilization time is over
There are three reasons to use DemParty (Excerpts of MP Ts.Elbegdorj’s interview with Zuunii Shuudan newspaper)
Q: You are experienced politician who led two Governments. Even you were the Prime Minister of the coalition Government. What is your position towards S.Bayar’s Government?
Ts.Elbegdorj: Tell you the truth. This Government has no courage to tell the real situation to its people. Once it is failed to tell the truth, everything is lie. Alos it tries to reolsve any issue with terror. It is not serving to its people but it is using tyranny. Poverty and inflation cannot be solved through jail. The main thing is that it completely ignores its citizens. I know very well that what can be implemented by the coalition government and what is not. Therefore, I suggested it to run the Government alone. I said thousand times that this Government needs “whipping” instead of “preparing its saddle”.
Q: You criticize Bayar’s Government and your party. Do you have a chance to fix it internally?
Ts.Elbegdorj: People have their faith in democracy. Therefore, in order to keep their faith in democracy, my position is criticizing the Government. Some are in favor of the coalition Government, but some are not. Therefore, ou party remains democratic in its core.
One day our MPs will coma back to their home, after being used by MPRP. There were three main reasons to use them. First, incident of July 1st, most of responsible people are left behind the scene. Second, some MPs of Demparty will be used with regards of inflation and monetary policy. The third is the Mineral Law issue. After that their validity will expire and they will be dumped. When this happens I have to maintain our supporters.
