The regular meeting of Mongolian-European investors will be organized next month. Last week, organizer Mr. Christopher Garnett of England met with minister M.Enkhbold. Also, they held a meeting on April in London and discussed on current issues concerned with Mongolian mining industry and financial markets. Parties united on urgent operation of Oyutolgoi project and its significant influence for Mongolian infrastructure, other social related projects. Investors’ core interest tends to private sector participation in biggest development projects like Tavan tolgoi and Oyutolgoi. Mongolian side aims to advertise its business environment and legal framework to the Europeans, and to engage Mongolian companies’ IPO opportunity in European stock market, and to develop European investors’ interest in Mongolian business community. Our country organized this meeting in Ulaanbaatar in 1997, 1998, 2002 jointly with Euromoney and in New York last year.
