Meeting of the standing committee on economics and budget were held this morning at 10:30am. They have discussed about the solutions to overcome the economics recession and have calculated that MNT 2.4 trillion is required instead of the MNT 1.5 trillion calculated previously.
Some members supported the idea of MNT 2.4 trillion but MP D.Arvin had stated ‘it is hard enough to bring in MNT 1.5 trillion so where are we going to get MNT 2.4 trillion from?’ Most MPs have supported her statement and have decided to discuss this matter in the next State Great Khural’s session. They have made changes on the planned expenditure procedures and will cut the government expenditure by stopping investments stated below.
-MNT 300 billion on agriculture which is provided by Russia.
-MNT 390 billion to develop the area of Gobi was reduced to MNT 290 billion.
