National Mining Association of Mongolia is going to hold “Minetech” exhibition in Mongolia for the first time on April 18 and 19 to promote and advertise activities of equipment suppliers and service providers in mining sector to the public, entities and institutions. We got some detail on this vent from B.Bayasal, Membership Manager of the Association.

The Association is organizing an exhibition for equipment suppliers and service providers in mining and geology sector. What is the purpose of this event?

Today mining sector plays an important role and influence greatly on national economy and social development. Mongolia has come to the start of enormous labor of mining deposits which have been determined as a result of mineral explorations. At this point of time, mining companies need up-to-date, environment-friendly, qualified and affordable equipment. Ordering this equipment overseas is a time and money consuming. Spare parts of the expensive and rare equipments can barely be found and number of cadres who could operate such equipment is insufficient. Thus, Minetech exhibition aims to link explorers and miners with mining equipment suppliers and service providers and promote their activities. In other words, we believe that it would be the most favorable arena for those who want to share experiences to become the best of the bests. In addition, Minetech allows miners and explorers to be aware of the products and compare selected partner with others before getting engaged in big trade deals. Moreover, everyone will be the honored guest of this event.

Then people could attend the exhibition as well?

Certainly. In spite of assisting geology and mining companies to find their partners, the exhibition demonstrate and introduce machinery, vehicles, equipments and services in the sector to the public. In other words, exhibition door is always open to people on April 18 and 19. Free buses serve during these days from Drama Theater to Misheel Expo center. This exhibition also allows the people to see mining equipments and touch them with hands. It is for sure that heavy mechanism and machinery would not operate everyday next to us. Minetech is of great significance to provide reliable information on mining sector to the public and is a part of NMA contribution to the development of Responsible Mining in the country.

What are the features of Minetech?

It allows mining equipment suppliers and service providers to promote their activities. Companies may demonstrate their products inside and outside the exhibition. Also they’re provided with opportunities to introduce on their new and best technology and equipments achievements and success. The exhibition shall be organized traditionally in the future.
