British Delegates Visit
Michael Howard, the parliament member of the United Kingdom and Lord Malloch Brown, FCO Minister, are visiting to Mongolia these days. While spending 2 days in Mongolia, they will meet politicians, representatives of mining sector, and planning to participate for the conference of British-Mongolian diplomatic relations establishment anniversary.
Michael Howard QC (born 7 July 1941) is a British politician, a Conservative MP since the 1983 General Election for the constituency of Folkestone and Hythe. Howard was leader of the Conservative Party between 2003 and 2005 and has held a number of cabinet posts in Her Majesty’s Government.
Mark Malloch-Brown was appointed the Minister for Africa, Asia and the UN attending Cabinet in June 2007.
He served as Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations from April to December 2006. Before this, from January 2005, he had been the Secretary-General’s Chef de Cabinet. Partly concurrently, he served from July 1999 until August 2005 as Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme.
