Mongol Bank had revealed an interesting statistics. There were only 300 bank card holders in Mongolia in the year 2005. Since then, this number had increased with a rapid rate and today the number of bank card holders had reached over 1.6 million (repeated number) which is more than half of the population of Mongolia. This number shows how fast the banking system is developing and proves it is the fastest growing sector in Mongolia.
