Badar-Uugan Enkhbat, won his Olympic Gold Medal beating Yankiel Leon Alarcon, a Cuban boxer. It is the first ever gold medal of Mongolia in Boxing and the second gold medal of the Mongolian Olympic squad in Beijing 2008.

He grabbed gold medal from a Cuban boxer, winning by 16:5! Placing Mongolia in the 30th in medal count list of the Olympics Games!
