Price of coal commodity reaches its highest level in the year 2009. End of last week, price of coal commodity had reached 4860 USD per tonne at the London Metal Exchange. This is almost 60% increase from January 2009 shows report. Some experts believe this increase is directly related to China’s coal consumption as they are buying coals to use it to overcome the economic downturn. This consumption made a positive impact in the metal exchange market and possibly in Mongolia as the Mongolian Government is desperate to increase its tax revenues. The good news is that most predicts price of coal commodity is to be increased continuously.
