Civil Movements Think That Four Percent of “Energy Resource” Is illegal
96 per cent of the Tavantolgoi coal deposit is transferred to government, and “Energy Resource” left with four per cent which is equal to a license. Civil movements made joint information on this issue. They have position that Tavantolgoi must be transferred to government wholly. They think it’s unjust that they are staying with best deposit of Tavantolgoi, since “Energy Resource” got the license illegally. D.Enkhbat, executive council member of “Radical Reform, said that “it’s false that “Energy resource” got four per cent. More than four per cent of Tavantolgoi must be in Ukhaa khudag. We clarified it from him.
You said that Tavantolgoi license was transferred to “Energy Resource” by illegal way. Please clarify it?
Firstly “Mine info” got field research license. Secret boss is B.Jargalsaikhan. In 2006, six field research licenses were changed to using license. That time Mongolia was arguing to draft new useful minerals law. At that time, Industry and Trade minister B.Jargalsaikhan issued an order that stopped all operations of licensing, transferring and guaranteeing. Right that time “Energy resource” got using license. We were informing to prime minister about this fraud.
Isn’t it proper to get share since “Energy resource” made certain amount of investment?
it’s true that they made technical and economical assessment. They put some drills in order to make test to sample coal. In truth these drills didn’t put by “Energy resource”, but put by Japanese company. Let audit confirm whether they made 7.8 billions investments. then we will believe.
Isn’t 4 per cent accounted by square size, not by stock size?
Tavantolgoi has over seventy of parcels. Comparing to them, it’s small parcel. So I don’t believe that it was accounted by square size. But main issue is not what four percent. Most important is why “Energy resource” must own property of the people. Now government is not socializing property of the “Energy resource”. At the beginning, government must own it for 100 per cent in order decide whom to be used. Then we must discuss about who will own. This is wrong that they gave it to “Energy resource”. Instead of that, government would decide it by bidding or any other ways.
