In the frame of the “Gold” program which was initiated by P.Ochirbat, who was a first president of Mongolia, started to implement in 1992 and state budget revenue increased year by year and in 2006, it reached 55.1 billion tugrugs.
As a result of it, number of people who work in this industry increased and reached to 5.600 at the present. So Industry & Trade Ministry summarized results of the two staged program and planning to start third stage of “Gold” program.
By the way, they are planning to reserve water spurting out and preserve the wild nature besides regulation of mining to firstly consider resource size of gold mines.
