Ministry of Roads, Transport, Construction and Urban Development prepared programs, included in the Government Action Plan, such as 990 km long international highway between Altanbulag – Ulaanbaatar – Zamyn Uud, 920 km long railway between Tavan Tolgoi – Zuunbayan – Choibalsan, 212 km long asphalt road, 1284 km long road along the vertical line of Millenium Road, 350 km long road maintenance work, factories with production capacity of 1 million ton cement annually, 500 thousand tons of steel, 100 thousand household.
These projects, programs require 6 billion USD and “Transit Mongol” and “Great Development and Investment Mongolia – 2009” international forum and conference, in order to raise fund for these projects. The Ministry will initiate, based on the approval of the Government, talks and negotiations with interested parts.
