ULAN BATOR, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) — Mongolia’s new parliament on Wednesday appointed Nyamaa Enkhbold from the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) and the Democratic Party’s Gavaa Bathuu as its vice chairmen.
Nyamaa Enkhbold was minister of foreign affairs and director of the governmental administration in the former government.
The parliament also set up seven standing committees.
Parliamentary elections were held on June 29. The MPRP and the Democratic Party won 42 and 25 seats respectively in the 76-memberparliament.
The Citizens Will-Republican Party and an independent candidate obtained one seat each. But the results for the remaining seven seats have not been published yet.
