Yesterday a regular session of the Cabinet set the following issues for discussion:

Helicopter is to be bought

Last year, the Government and the Parliament set to buy 2 units of helicopters for the use of the Ministry of defense and agencies including border protection, emergency, police and other Government organizations. The first part of the helicopters-MI171E helicopter for searching and aiding was brought on the 4th of this month. The assembly of the second helicopter which is for passenger and freight forwarding has been completed and is now under testing. It will be received next month. The remaining purchase price of the helicopters which is MNT 5.2 billion is to be provided as budget loan and the Cabinet meeting agrees that it should be repaid following the state budget determinatives.

Petroleum product resource is to be created

Discussing the draft of Government decree on some measures on creating petroleum product resources, it is considered that it was proper to:

- Approve government and private agencies to store petroleum products, variety and quantity of products to be stored on the ground of agreement to store 20.600 tons of petroleum product resources which will be purchased from Russia and China on August 2008;

- Compose trilateral agreement with entities on storing petroleum product resources;

- Introduce to the next session of the cabinet meeting within September 2008 on further measures on the realization of this decree and supplement of petroleum products.

It was decided to purchase 107.934 tons petroleum products in 2008 for storage.
