Mongolia, Croatia to boost co-op

ULAN BATOR, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) — Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar and his visiting Croatian counterpart Stjepan Mesic pledged to boost bilateral cooperation in a various fields during their meeting here Monday.

The two countries will increase cooperation in sectors like trade and economy, education and international affairs, according to a statement issued by the press office of the Mongolian president.

Enkhbayar said Mongolia will support Croatia in its bid to be anon-permanent member of the UN Security Council.

Mesic also met with Mongolian Prime Minister Sanj Bayar on Monday.

he Croatian leader arrived here on Aug. 2 for a four-day visit, his first to the country.
