The first-ever NAMBC USDOC Certified Trade Mission to Mongolia, September 14-19, will bring senior executives of 10 US companies to Mongolia. The Trade Mission will be accompanied by the Honorable Michelle O’Neill, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, and Steve Saunders, President of the NAMBC.

The Mission is intended for (1) senior executives of new-to-Mongolia American companies and (2) executives of companies already active or invested in Mongolia who have not previously visited the country.

The Mission will visit Ulaanbaatar September 14-19. No other cities will be visited because of time limitations. The Trade Mission program continues through the evening of Friday, September 19, and will include a reception in honor of Mission delegates hosted by US Ambassador Mark Minton.
All Trade Mission delegates will participate in the NAMBC’s 11th Annual Investors Conference and Prime Minister’s Roundtable, September 17-19. The US Embassy is arranging a special program for the Trade Mission delegates during September 14-17.

The Trade Mission will help participating firms obtain market information, make business and government contacts, explore potential business prospects, and solidify business strategies. The mission will include business-to-business matchmaking appointments with local companies, as well as meetings with senior Mongolian government officials and local chambers of commerce. USDOC Deputy Under Secretary Michelle O’Neill will accompany the mission delegation.
