Prime Minister S.Batbold and US Ambassador Addleton.J made joint statement that the Millennium Challenge Corporation has approved the project worth of $188 million. The fund will be used for projects, “North – South road” and “Clean Air”, proposed by the Government of Mongolia. This amount was planned to be allocated for “Ulaanbaatar Railway” Joint Cooperative, but it was declined by its recipient.

Two projects require $127 million: “North – South road” is worth of $79.75 million, allowing continuation of Choir- Sainshand road and “Clean Air” is worth of $47,2 million, allowing establishment of lean technology fund and extensive introduction of wind resource in the national energy production.
