Mr. Drew Fagan, the Assistant Deputy Minister Strategy Policy and Planning, Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada and Canadian Ambassador Anna Biolik invited Mr. Kh.Battulga, the Minister for Roads Transport Construction and Urban Development, to visit Canada. They stated that Mongolians have a chance of studying in construction techniques, especially, Canada House techniques. Canada House project will allow officials of the Ministry of Roads Transport Construction and Urban Development and workers from private sectors to study in Canada. The Canadian side expressed its interest in the project of building new airport in Mongolia.
Mr. Kh.Battulga, the Minister for Roads Transport Construction and Urban Development, said that he has plan to build a Canada House in Batsumber soum and to convert Batsumber soum as the model soum in Mongolia. Minister Kh.Battulga said that “It is possible to construct this Canada House because of similarity of weather and climate in two countries, therefore I will visit Canada with MPs who are elected from the countryside and will work on implementing this project”.
