LAW OF MONGOLIA ON TRADE MARKS AND GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS

CHAPTER ONE

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Purpose of the Law

The purpose of this law shall be to ensure the legal guarantees for trademarks and service marks (hereinafter referred to as “trademarks”) and geographical indications, to protect the rights and legitimate interests of their owners and users, and to regulate relations arising in connection with the ownership, use and disposal of trademarks and the use of geographical indications.
