Mr. G.Zandanshatar, Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with Hillary Clinton, State Secretary of USA and discussed on the issues of mutual and regional relationship and cooperation, during ARF Summit. Minister G.Zandanshatar confirms Mongolia’s willingness to complete the Mongolian President’s visit to USA and invited Hillary Clinton to pay visit to Mongolia in 2011, the 100th anniversary year of the national independence movement and the 90th anniversary year of the People’s Revolution. State Secretary Hillary Clinton accepted and confirmed the invitation. Moreover, she congratulated to Mongolia in becoming Chairing state of Commonwealth of Democratic Nations and expressed her readiness to support and assist Mongolia implementing its duty.
Minister G.Zandanshatar took part in the 17th meeting of ARF Ministers, a regional conference of ASEAN, between 22-23 of July, in Hanoi, Vietnam. APF is the biggest summit on the regional security, including 10 ASEAN member states, 26 nations of Asia and Pacific Region such as USA, China, Japan, India and Republic of Korea and EU. Mongolia is member since 1988.
